Description
The Printers Room Aluminium Etching with Chine-colle The Japanese rice paper in this print was applied at the same time as I printed the etching plate, this process is called Chine- colle These little etched glass bottles filled with lavender and linseed oil nestled on Japanese rice paper represent many opportunities when entering this space. This interior holds new processes to explore, new experiences to share and new dreams for printmakers to create.
Artist Bio
Originally from the UK, I trained as a textile designer and for many years worked as a designer in the UK and here in Sydney. I now produce my own artwork exploring all forms of print. I have sold my work at various makers markets, galleries in Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney. I also run a children's afterschool art class based in Cromer.
