Description

I made this work in response to the bush fires that are being experienced here and around the world due to climate change. I can't imagine how hard it would be to follow a fire into bushland - the charred and scarred landscape around you with the eerie glow of the fire in the distance.

Artist Bio

I came to printmaking later in life and very much enjoy investigating and attempting to master the various techniques available to create unique artworks. There are so many ways to approach a subject from the creation of the plates to the way in which they are inked and printed - this is the joy of printmaking for me.
