Description

Most agates are unappealing and unattractive in their natural state. Only when they are sliced open and polished can their unique beauty be displayed. Their multicoloured layers have been hidden from view and could easily have been overlooked. In order to create this print, I turned a no longer appealing photopolymer plate into a collagraph that I then “polished” with a final layer of Cyanotype. The plate has hidden layers and so too, the print itself!
