COVID SAFE GUIDELINES

To ensure the health and safety of everyone, we are continuing to adhere to the protocols set out in NSW Public Health Orders and in the Terms and Conditions specified by Northern Beaches Council.
If you are unwell, the most important thing you can do (member, tutor, student or visitor) is to stay at home.

If you have any cold or flu symptoms do not attend the studio until all your symptoms have disappeared.
Should you present with flu-like symptoms you will be asked to leave.

FOLLOWING PROTOCOLS AND REGULATIONS

  • Check in using the QR Code at the studio entrance.

  • Northern Beaches Council has installed a hand sanitizer unit to the left of the entrance door.

  • Please sanitise your hands on entering and departing the studio.

  • You must arrive and leave as close to your class time as possible & must not linger in the studio once your class is finished.

  • On arrival, go to your individual workstation promptly.

  • The kitchen space is off limits & there is to be no sharing of food. Please bring your own water or beverage.

RE-CONFIGURATION OF WORK SPACES

  • [Recent easing of restrictions mean that the workstations are back to original configurations. If this changes then to comply with social distancing and hygiene requirements, we will set up individual workstations.]

  • In observing the surface area requirements, we have had to cap the number of class attendees to a maximum of 12 people, including the tutor.

  • Every student workstation has been equipped with a rubbish bin and personal hand sanitiser. We ask students and workshop participants to clean and sanitise these workstations.

  • We will have disinfectant solution for wiping down equipment before and after each use, particularly in shared, high-use areas of regular contact.

  • You will be required to sanitize presses, press wheels, shared equipment such as print rollers, etching solution vessels, brushes, paper rulers, cutting knives, hairdryer & cleaning tools, etc.

  • We have re-configured the room to ensure safe social distancing. The paper-cutting table has been re-located to the front of the studio, adjacent to the entrance. A utility table has been set up at the rear of the room. The hair dryer has been re-located to the back of the studio and there will be a designated photopolymer workspace for plate preparation.

  • We have introduced a one-way direction of traffic flow in the studio. There will be arrows marked on the studio floor indicating this direction.
