2-Day Weekend Workshop with Gary Shinfield

walking, foraging, noticing, translating, printing
Gary Shinfield's practice brings a connection with nature into the studio. Sharing his process, this workshop takes participants through a set of translations from the natural world to the printed form. Before the workshop you will receive instructions from Gary to take yourself on a nature walk. Over the two daysday workshop you will use 5 flat items collected from your walk to develop direct prints and then translate these further through abstractions into wood and lino blocks. You will be exploring relief printing techniques to create beautiful layered prints.

cancellation policy
All classes/workshops/courses are non-refundable. Where a participant withdraws from a workshop three weeks before the workshop, the fee may be refundable if your place can be filled. You must notify the workshop coordinator workshops@printstudio.org.au as soon as possible so they can try to fill your place from wait-listed participants. If your place is filled, your workshop fee will be refunded less a $50 admin fee. Workshops are transferable.
