Kate has been a printmaker and teacher for 14years. She uses drawing and memory to create abstractions of the Australian landscape using multiple plates and overprinting techniques. Chine colle processes and printing on handmade papers add colour and texture to the layering of the plates. Kate uses etching, photopolymer, collagraph and wood block plates.
