Artist Statement

Ground Lines is an impression of the familiar landscape of the farmland where I grew up. A landscape that has left its mark on my very being. Patterns, colours, imprinted, layered and weathered.

Bio

I enjoy working on and with paper in all its forms, showing its versatility, strength and beauty while pushing the boundaries of paper as material.
I have been a finalist in a number of significant art prizes including the Australian Design Centre Make Awards, Hazelhurst Art on Paper Award, Meroogal Art Prize, North Sydney Art Prize, Seed Stitch Contemporary Textile Award (winner 2020), International Art Textile Award (winner Australian Excellence Award 2023), Northern Beaches Artist Book Award, Gosford Art Prize, and Hornsby Art Prize.
