2-Day Weekend Workshop with Janet Parker-Smith

Saturday & Sunday workshop. Learn the processes of bookmaking and the artist book. During this course, learn skills in how to make handmade books including a Japanese bound book, single signature soft bound book, concertina book and a Coptic bind hard cover journal.
You will also work on a self-directed artwork from an existing book using processes to create a deconstructed/altered artist book. Students will need to bring at least 1 book that they can deconstruct/alter (a hard cover book if preferable).

cancellation policy
All classes/workshops/courses are non-refundable. Where a participant withdraws from a workshop three weeks before the workshop, the fee may be refundable if your place can be filled. You must notify the workshop coordinator workshops@printstudio.org.au as soon as possible so they can try to fill your place from wait-listed participants. If your place is filled, your workshop fee will be refunded less a $50 admin fee. Workshops are transferable.
