The exhibition 'Australia - Enchanting Impressions' was supported by the Australia China Council.
Warringah Printmakers Studio, invited by Guangdong Chinese Culture Promotions as part of their ongoing cultural exchange program, held an exhibition of members' artworks at the Exhibition Hall of the South China Club, Ersha Island, Guangzhou from 3rd to 12th September, 2004. The cultural exchange also included a visit to Guangzhou University where ideas & information were exchanged with teachers & students from the Academy of Fine Arts. There was much interest in the Studio's approach to safer printmaking while Studio delegates learned about Chinese woodblock printing and Chinese contemporary printmaking practice.
The Studio would like to acknowledge the support & assistance provided by Mrs Kei Ying Wong (Director GDCCP) and her staff, the exhibition curator Fergus Tam & the Australia China Council.
